Hemorrhoids are embarrassing, painful and uncomfortable, especially if they are mainly external. Now there can be found some natural cures for you to try at home to get that long awaited relief.

hemorrhoidsMany of these simple remedies for external hemorrhoids can be purchased right at your local drug store. But it is very important to keep in mind to be cautious when using these cures. This is applicable to any type of healing that you plan to do naturally by yourself. What you need to do is soothe the itching & diminish the burning. The natural products that can relieve these signs of outside hemorrhoids are petroleum jelly, aloe vera gel, a combination of lavender or rosemary oils and witch hazel or rosemary used in an almond base.

If at any time you want to learn more all natural remedies, check out the guide Hemorrhoid Free for Life here. It’s helped out a lot of people.

You should try these simple home remedies:

You might also want to shrink the hemorrhoids. For this purpose you can use horse chestnut, collinsonia root powder or butcher’s broom. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully when using these products. To treat the symptoms and the hemorrhoids themselves you can mix water with your choice of herbs such as alumroot, goldenseal, powdered myrrh, slippery elm bark or mullein. Mix the ingredients with an equal portion of water and make a paste that should be applied to and kept on the hemorrhoids for at least one hour.

Those of you who would rather not apply anything directly to the hemorrhoids, there are drinks that can be made to provide relief. Try mixing black mustard with yogurt and then drink a glass of buttermilk. Another drink with buttermilk would be adding peppercorns, rock salt and ginger to the buttermilk. If these don’t sound too appetizing, you may want to get a pomegranate, peel it, and boil the peels. Drink a glass of this each morning and night.

Additionally another natural remedy is to avoide certain foods or drinks that may make the hemorrhoids worse. Some of these foods and drinks include strong spices, too much table salt, beer, soft drinks, coffee, sour foods, pickles and some red meats. Avoiding an excess of any of these will also help to prevent hemorrhoids in the first place.

The 6 Best Hemorrhoid Treatments That Will Cure Your Hemorrhoids Forever

Posted in Hemorrhoid Remedies on May 11th, 2011 by admin – 4 Comments

Inflamed veins that are found around the lower rectum or anus are called hemorrhoids. There are also external hemorrhoids which develop under the skin around the anus. Internal hemorrhoids can be present in the lower rectum. These internal hemorrhoids may cause extreme discomfort because they often prolapse or protrude through the anus. One of the most common symptoms of hemorrhoids that can be found internally is blood in the stool and is usually accompanied by pain, discomfort and itching in the anal area.

hemorrhoid treatmentAlthough hemorrhoids are not thought of as a serious medical condition or life threatening, they are uncomfortable. It is estimated that over 60% of people will suffer from hemorrhoids at some point in their lives. There are millions of hemorrhoids sufferers who are seeking cure from the condition. The following are the top six treatments that have been proven to cure hemorrhoids:

Undergo a Haemorrhoidectomy:

A haemorrhoidectomy is a procedure where the complete hemorrhoid is surgically removed. This procedure is known to be a way to completely cure hemorrhoids but is considered a drastic action. Although haemorrhoidectomies were a popular way of dealing with hemorrhoids in the past, it is invasive and requires some recovery time.

Injection Sclerotherapy:

Sclerotherapy is an old procedure that is also used to treat spider and varicose veins. This is a very basic treatment and is virtually painless. A fine needle is used to inject a solution into the vein. This causes the vein to dry up and disappear.

Aloe Vera Gel:

Aloe Vera gel is thought of as one of the most effective home treatments for hemorrhoids. The aloe is applied topically to the hemorrhoid and pain vanishes almost immediately. Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory properties and can also be ingested to assist in the relief of constipation; which often contributes to hemorrhoid suffering.

Consider Minor Lifestyle Changes

If you want to learn more about lifestyle changes, check out my review of Hemorrhoid Free for Life here. It has helped a lot of people cure their hemorrhoids for good.

Witch Hazel:

Witch Hazel is capable of alleviating itching caused by hemorrhoids. Witch Hazel is usually applied with a cotton ball but there are also witch hazel sprays that are very easy to use. The sprays often contain proanthocyanidins which are believed to strengthen the vein walls.

Venapro

Venapro is an over-the-counter medication, with anti-inflammatory properties, that was designed to work together with the natural healing mechanisms of the body. Venapro is effective for internal and external hemorrhoids.
